IGLS Logistics Protocol

Step 1:
Request free kits

Once you have decided to use one of our tests, please order the kits by sending an email to logistics@igls.net. Specify the quantity of kits you require for each service, which will take 2-3 days to arrive.

Note: This step can be automated after agreeing the monthly quantity of kits with your sales contact.

SpermXpression®

Store kits at room temperature (20-25°C).

Note: They usually have a shelf life of one year from the date of arrival.

Step 2:
Sample Retrieval Schudule

1. Schedule specimen collection with your doctor at your convenience.

– Biopsy:

Endometrial Biopsy (ER Map, MicroBioMap, Im Map, Queendom).
Embryo biopsy (PGT-A,SR, M)

– Blood collection

(KIR / HLA-C, Carrier Screening, WOMAM MTR).

– Semen sample

(SpermXpression).

2. Arrange for sample collection.

Note: Please give at least 2 days notice.

Send an email to logistics@igls.net with the date and time of collection.

IMPORTANT: Keep the ER Map®/ MicroBioMap® tube immediately in the refrigerator (refrigerated)
for at least 4 hours until shipment (which should be within 4 days after biopsy).

You will receive a confirmation within 1-2 days, together with detailed transport instructions.

Step 3:
Sample collection and shipment

On the day of endometrial biopsy, blood collection or semen sample collection:

In case of refrigerated transport (refrigerated transport is required for Im Map®, Queemdom® or PGT-A samples), place the cold packs (frigolines) in the freezer at -20°C at least 2 hours before the biopsy.

Open the kit box and read carefully the instructions provided.

Fill in the service request form and informed consents.

Once the collection is complete, place the specimen in the transport box.

If applicable, place the refrigerated cold packs in the box.

For collections outside Spain, the label provided should be placed on top of the package.

For qCarrier and Safebaby® (NIPT) tests, it is essential that the application form and the informed consent (IC) are sent by email on the day of sample collection.

Hand over the transport box to the courier designated by our team.

Step 4:

Laboratory analysis

Once the sample is received by our laboratory, you will receive a confirmation email from lab@igls.net.

If there are any problems with the sample, we will notify you immediately.

Step 5:
Results Report

The first time you work with us, you will receive an email from lab@igls.net with a password that will give you access to all future IGLS reports.

Once we receive your sample, lab@igls.net will send you an email within 10 working days. This email will include your results report as an attachment.

To open the attached report, please use the password provided in the initial email.

The report is contained in a password-protected ZIP file to ensure patient privacy.

We recommend opening the file on a computer, not on a mobile device, to avoid potential download problems.
